Life Pregnancy Care

LIFE has been serving women with crisis pregnancies for almost 30 years as a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing a professional level of service. Life is a pro-life organization.
LIFE Pregnancy Care provides counselling and support to women who have had an abortion and to partners and other family members. It does not matter if the abortion happened recently or many years ago.

Location: Life Pregnancy Care has four centres around the country:
Cork (123 Patrick Street)
Dublin 2 (29/30 Dame St)
Thurles (8 Parnell Street)
Galway (Westside Resource Centre, Seamus Quirke Road, Westside)

How to make an appointment: To make an appointment, Lo Call 1850 281 281 or email lifenational@eircom.net. The phoneline is open from Monday-Saturday 9am - 9pm and on Sunday from 3pm to 9pm. You can expect to get an appointment within 2-3 working days. Telephone counselling is also available on the helpline between Mon - Sat 9am - 9pm and Sun 3pm - 9pm

When you make your appointment: You can attend for post abortion counselling in Cork or Dublin. If you need directions, information on how to get to the service, or if you have concerns about the waiting area, please ask about this when you call to make your appointment and our receptionist will give you the information you need. Counselling is also available over the telephone or by Internet chat.

A drop in service is also available and information is available during Centre opening times, available from 1850 281 281 and at the outreach service in Midleton Cork.

Who can attend: You may bring a partner, a friend or a family member with you. Counselling is also available to them if it is needed.

Who provides the counseling: Counselling is provided by professionally trained counsellors, who have many years experience in supporting women after an abortion.
